History In The Making –

In this new & changed times, new technology-rich era, new information age, new generation, new thought process, new awareness, new expectations, new display of will power, newly acquired self-respect, newly gained self-worth, new power to sustainability, new desire to involve and participate, don't you agree with me that “New Order” must prevail in our Society and System?

Capital city of our great Nation, one that is so beautiful, green, developed with present-day modern infrastructure and facilities has been reduced to…… you know what with all current data & status handy with us! I know, everybody has a common feeling. That it is all due to so-called callousness, corruption, could-not-care-less attitude and rogue system, correct? No! Please have large heart and courage to accept that somewhere we are responsible. Having lived in the same city for over six decades and dealt with the same system, same people, and similar operating style of offices dealing primarily with public for over five decades, how come I never faced corruption or could turn a corrupt myself? How come, Living Legend of our times, Sadhguru, is at peace & exuberating intelligence like a Divinity? How come a Great leader, and now our Prime Minister, Modi rose to his pinnacle in the same system, with the same people around? How come Manohar Parrikar set exemplary integrity, simple living, and still not only becomes a most liked and respected Chief Minister of Goa and also as Defence Minister of India, but survives in the same system? How come Metro, ISRO and Armed Forces continue to function and rise to newer heights & development without corruption, without compromise to quality and without any delays in the tasks they have in their hands.How come, against all odds, we present exemplary show of organizational and management skills at world’s largest congregation during Kumbh, at Prayag Raj? Answer to all these questions is just one word “Discipline”. (And look at how, we the people, use, behave, treat and deal with fellows in the same Metro?) With discipline, comes dedication, commitment, caring and serving others, as a natural trait. Because of this one-word (discipline) Japan is Japan and India is India. From this DISCIPLINE, Japan evolved itself to be known for their National Character. Not having principles in the first place, and frequently compromising with them to suit our comforts and convenience, is the root cause of corrupting people and getting corrupt. As most lazy species on the planet, we do not want to work hard and do not want to come out of our comfort zone or push ourselves to fulfill our dreams. When I am taking the responsibility towards 95%, 5% preaching is warranted, with all my humbleness. With hand-folded, I request that the least I am expecting is your acceptance to some of the bitter habitual facts in our society. Unless we accept that we do not know, learning and knowing is not possible. Unless we accept that we can be wrong and commit mistakes, correcting self is impossible. And it starts with I, me, myself and applies on all.

Can a simple message & appeal on a flyer like this make anyone get elected to Lok Sabha? Well, I believe so… and soon you would believe too when you would find me sitting in Lok Sabha as an Honoured Member of Parliament…. I am fully aware that destination to that dream is possible only with Good wishes of millions who are instrumental in real action reflecting a VOTE with changed mindset. And it doesn’t require much efforts if God’s Will, Sadhguru’s Grace, Elders’ Blessings are available in abundance with anyone.

I know, all this appears unbelievable on the surface for you are not used to such realities during election time, and because no one talked on these lines before. I am sure, my message & appeal is touching every heart aspiring to be liberated from every day chaos/vandalism and related stress taking away the very meaning & purpose of LIFE, as it should be lived. I have experienced, lived and known by undergoing lot of turbulence, turmoil, torture and tearing myself apart. My attempt is simply to connect you with my heart & soul in the right place. Waiting since eternity, I was left with no option but to do things myself, carry out this mission myself, have control over actual development myself, be instrument to remove chaos and anarchy spilling out from four walls of every home making a reflection in the street in any & all forms you can imagine under the Sun. I must do what is needed most is the only purpose left in my life until I transit this journey. I have that self-belief and fire in the belly, and untiring urge to push myself for the betterment of others, and grow myself further to infinity. I have this undying dream of putting things in order, making your life worthy of living with ease, love, joy, celebration and togetherness - a U-turn from anarchy, agony, stress, sickness, fear, insecurity and uncertainty.

I always wondered, and finding hard to get an answer, I decided to take the responsibility myself as my mission. Allow me to ask you a simple question. Why ‘YOU and I’ always remain in imaginative mode that contesting election and winning is only for those who belong to a party having political structure, ideology, support, funds, big office, logistics and every other means to reach out to masses and appeal them to cast their votes in their favour based on their popularity with the people or their ‘so-called’, performance . Just think of substance & sustainability of both these claims in relaxing & calm inner sphere. Is it anyway related or close to the truth & reality? (Allow me to add a real time

(just cooked) joke to add humour to this serious message. As I am preparing this message, my 22-month old grandson comes to me (as his daily routine) to show that he is ready and shining after getting fresh and taking a bath, showing his new dress, etc. My daily question to him is, what will you do now? His daily reply is Nina (sleep), though, in ever playful mood, he seldom sleeps after bath. When he repeated his answer even today, like all other days, I told him, with full hearted laugh, Koi Nina Winanahi. You will become a politician. You never do what you say… An instant & spontaneous fact as I was writing something on the subject.

Back to what is of immediate importance…

Elaborating past plights will serve no purpose but have endless views, comments, reasons and excuses, including educational & political will and raising of eyebrows from intellectuals. For me changing our mindset is more important than living in the past and counting our follies thus far. I am here to talk of solutions so that we recover with a changed mindset - will, responsibility, determination, commitment, contribution, involvement and participation to make our democracy meaningful. We simply cannot harp on past facts that our society elects dacoit like Phoolan Devi (with all due respect to her Divine soul) and dumps honest, educated, hardworking IPS like Kiran Bedi. That is past, that does not live. What does not live, does not matter. At the same time, however, is it too much to ask that we owe ourselves some introspection? We simply cannot afford to elect any tom dick and harry on the basis of their party affiliation, cast, creed or religion, if we have to improve our LIVES and reduce our sufferings. We need more reformers than politicians.

Coming back to soliciting your support in this election, once again, please seek answers if I am the right person to represent and work for your constituency and make my dream come true (Is it not your dream?) Someone, who has no support, funds, logistics, but crystal-clear perceptions based on my knowledge, long diversified experience of travel length and breadth of my great Nation (and many overseas destinations), interaction with loving people & cultures across the country, involvement and non-stop learning - waiting to be reflected into untiring efforts - which I shall apply and implement with hundred percent focus for the benefit of the people at large. I would evolve a system that would allow to have an easy access to their representative as individuals or group of people/society through their elected members for tasks needing immediate attention.

Friends, I preferred putting in front of you my intents rather than making my message appear like a long, unending election speech. My motive is that my intentions and intended action reach out to you as solutions and what needs to be done. If you are with me, believe me, we can do it and we would do it, collectively. You will find me with you, among you, as one of you…. Always, as your right & my duty.

To reach out to you, my loving and dear electorates of East Delhi constituency, seeking your well-considered Vote & support, all I could afford is printing & distribution cost of this flyer. I wish & pray for your overwhelming support through word of mouth and whatever other possible ways you can think of. Please remember just one thing, it is all about you and you alone… If you haven’t gauged already, let me spell out for you that I am content to the last alphabet. My stakes in this entire gamut is only to seek and reach next level of inner growth via serving others. Thanking you for your time, patience and understanding.
